Sakai Kikumori: The Japanese region of Sakai already looks back on 600 years of experience in blade manufacturing.
Sakai Kikumori was founded in February 1926 to continue this tradition. Since that date, Kawamura Hamono has been supplying households and professionals with sharp knives under his Sakai Kikumori brand. Particular emphasis is placed on the quality of the workmanship.
Everything is sold: from traditional single-edged sushi knives made of carbon steel to double-edged European-style knives.
In April 2011, the managing director, Kawamura Hamono, received the "SAKAI WAZASHU" certification from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sakai, Japan for his brand Sakai Kikumori. Only companies that are constantly developing and can maintain the high standards required for this certification are certified.
