The Shiro series is designed by master blacksmith Yoshikazu Tanaka from " Hitachi Metals Yasuki Specialty Steel (YSS)" Shirogami #2 is hand forged and consists of a 3 layer San Mai construction. The knife was ground by Tadataka Maruyama, a professional sharpener from Sakai.
