Hado : Hado is definitely one of the top knife makers in Japan at the moment.
The Ginsan series is made by the master blacksmith Shogou Yamatsuka made of stainless Ginsan. The knife is generally light and comes very thinly ground. The Shinogi line is very clean and concise and the knife is generally a little higher than comparable models. The knife was ground by Tadataka Maruyama, a professional sharpener from Sakai.
The handle is made from a piece of unpainted cherry wood.
