Petty: All-purpose , more information about the most common knife shapes can be found here: knife shapes .
Chromax: Chromax could best be compared to a further developed SKD steel. It has a hardness of 64-65 HRC, which makes it incredibly sharp and edge-holding. The steel can also be categorized as "semi stainless", which makes it a real carbon steel alternative for little money.
Please note: The knife comes without the Takamura signature and logo. There is no difference in quality. The finish of the knife is coarsely satin-finished lengthwise.
