Made from SK carbon steel and very reasonably priced. One of our bestsellers. SK carbon is a tool steel that is much more forgiving than Shirogami or Aogami. First frowned upon and now increasingly popular, the thin monosteel blades are winning over more and more professional and amateur chefs. The HRC is 60-62 and resharpening is practically no work.
