Good knives need good boards!
For this reason, Asahi has been producing synthetic cutting boards for over 50 years. The material used makes the boards especially suitable for Japanese knives and other high-quality blades. During this long period of time, Asahi has been able to continuously improve its products and now offers some of the highest quality cutting boards in the world.
The black synthetic rubber series from Asahi is in no way inferior to its big brother, the Pro series. The boards are thinner and slightly softer bound, making them perfect for home use and suitable for blades up to 21 cm .

The most important facts:
1. Blade-friendly. Asahi boards always have a wood-like structure and therefore provide a very authentic feedback. Due to the degree of hardness, you hardly notice any difference to a conventional wooden board.
2. Durability. Asahi boards offer excellent durability. In many cases, sharp knives tend to dig deep into the cutting board. Although this series is a little softer than the Pro series, this is not the case with this model either. The board is very durable, resistant to marks and does not warp.
3. Bacteria/mold resistant. The board cannot absorb liquids, which prevents the formation of mold and bacteria.
4. Easy to use. Stains and other things can be easily washed off.
These cutting boards are not dishwasher safe.
